Ray is a “Camper for Life,” either attending or working at a camp every summer since he was 5 years old. Upon graduating Mahopac High School, Ray opted for the less traditional route of a trade school, aiming to better his skills that get put to use on a daily basis at camp. After school, it was right back into the camp world, working for both the private and non-profit sectors, eventually landing in his new home at Breezemont. Ray’s main goal each summer is to teach the staff that work with him the importance of honing everyday skills, safety, and how to have fun while being productive. Outside of camp, Ray is an avid weightlifter. “Hard work builds good character.”
